The Challenge

The client managed donations and memberships with third-party software but faced high costs and limited flexibility. The system wasn't aligned with their workflows, so they needed a cost-effective, fully customized solution.

My Approach

After the client shared their business logic, I first created a framework of the system flow. From there, I designed the UX in Figma, refining the interface through feedback and iteration. During this stage, we also agreed on PHP as the programming language, ensuring a reliable and scalable foundation for development.

The Solution

The result is a custom-built platform with a powerful admin dashboard to manage members, track payments with automated reminders, and handle donations with clear reporting. Each member has a personal dashboard to update details, view payments, and manage their status. The platform removes manual work and costly subscriptions, giving the client a fast, reliable solution tailored exactly to their needs.

Technology

The application was developed in PHP, using leading libraries such as Composer for dependency management, Carbon for date/time handling, and PHPMailer for secure email integration. It is built on the Laravel framework, leveraging Eloquent ORM, Blade templating engine, and Artisan CLI to streamline development and maintain clean architecture. Data is managed through a MySQL database for stability and structure. For deployment, the platform is hosted on Render, providing a modern and scalable environment.
